Job Summary
As a Polygraph Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting polygraph examinations to support criminal investigations and assist with the hiring process for the department. This position is integral to maintaining the trust and safety of our community. You will work closely with law enforcement officers and other professionals to ensure accurate and ethical administration of polygraph tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct polygraph examinations for criminal cases and employment screening.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to support investigations.
- Prepare detailed reports and provide expert testimony as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Successful completion of a polygraph school certified by the American Polygraph Association.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in criminal investigations or polygraph administration.
Working Conditions
This position is primarily office-based, but may require moving up to 55 pounds for distances of up to 10 feet.
Compensation and Benefits
