Position Overview

Prescient Edge seeks a Mid Polygraph Examiner/Intelligence Technician to support a Federal government client. The role involves conducting polygraph examinations, intelligence analysis, and ensuring compliance with National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) and Army Intelligence Polygraph Program (AIPP) policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct polygraph sessions per NCCA and AIPP policies, utilizing appropriate questions, forms, and procedures.
  • Record and report results of polygraph interviews, ensuring all documentation is completed and submitted in compliance with AIPP guidelines.
  • Manage cases where examinees fail to attend appointments within the allotted timeframe while ensuring contractual compensation.
  • Attend training sessions, operational briefings, and meetings as required by AIPP.
  • Ensure examinations meet quality control (QC) standards and maintain up-to-date documentation in the AIPP database.
  • Collaborate with team members and government managers to support operational objectives.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a certified polygraph examiner.
  • Certification from the Psychophysiological Detection of Deception (PPD) program, accredited by:
    • U.S. Military Police School/Army Polygraph School (USAMPS)
    • Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DODPI)
    • Defense Academy for Credibility Assessment (DACA)
  • Completion of a minimum of 300 polygraph examinations.
  • At least three years of experience as a polygraph examiner.
  • Commitment to 80 hours of NCCA-approved Continuing Education (CE) biennially.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to produce clear and concise analytical products.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) classification guidelines.

Additional Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of structured analytic methodologies, including analysis of competing hypotheses, red team analysis, and alternative futures analysis.
  • Expertise in intelligence collection methods, reporting evaluation, and collaboration across IC members.
