How Listings Are Collected

What appears here, where it comes from, and when it is removed.

  1. Checked every hour

Every hour we check USAJobs (federal agencies), GovernmentJobs (state and local agencies), the job boards of the American Polygraph Association, the American Association of Police Polygraphists and the Florida Polygraph Association, and Adzuna. Google Jobs and JSearch are checked daily. We then read each posting on the employer’s own site.

  2. Examiner roles only

We list jobs for polygraph examiners, polygraphers and polygraph specialists — not the many jobs that only require the applicant to pass a polygraph.

  3. Duplicates and low-quality sites filtered

The same posting found on several job sites is listed once, and postings that only exist on low-quality re-posting sites are left out.

  4. Removed when no longer open

A listing comes down when its closing date passes, or when it has not appeared on any source for three weeks.
